Susan, you will always be remembered as a strong, educated, caring and Christian woman. You truly were able to reach all of God’s children. You treated children with dignity, fairness, and love. You were able to identify the students that needed to be challenged in a unique way. You were always able to relate to both parents and students by sharing some of your personal stories. You never seemed like you were working a job but enjoying a journey to truly inspire all that you touched. The Garcia family knows that you are truly home now with our loving Father. Prayers for the whole family.

Susan approached me about starting a preschool in 2004 with high hopes of gaining young ones and their families to TC. We would take my daughter, Megan, who was three at the time and visit many local preschools to get a feel for what she wanted within the preschool format and program. Working under Susan for seven years in the Eagle’s Nest Preschool was enriching and rewarding for me...I will miss her greatly!
Penny King left a message on December 18, 2018:
It is with sad heart that we are hearing this. She had both of our daughters for 2nd grade and I was her room mother both years. She was such a blessing and inspired me, which lead to homeschooling our family. She impacted me, us, and so many. Sending much love and many prayers. Roger & Penny King, Jude 2
Sheena left a message on December 18, 2018:
To be able to write just one or even just a few memories of Mrs. Gioiella just isn’t possible for me. She was such an inspiration for me educationally, professionally, personally, and spiritually. The respect I had for her was like no other. She had spent the last year mentoring me, and I will cherish those one on one times the most. She took a chance on a new college graduate and hired me for the Eagles Nest nearly 8 years ago. She brought out my love of teaching and gave me confidence to homeschool my own son. I will be forever grateful for God bringing such an amazing woman into my life and will miss her fiercely. I send my deepest condolences to her entire family.
