Kathy Kohler Heintschel left a message on April 4, 2019:
Sam was a co-worker at Prestolite and a very good friend during working years and after retirement of my Mom, Vi Kohler. When my Mom passed away in Dec, 2015 - the telephone number my Mom had listed in her personal phone book for Sam was disconnected. My parents enjoyed time spent with Sam and his wife. Sam and my Mom exchanged Christmas cards for many years. Sam was kind and thoughtful (and my Mom said brillant). I hope you see this message and it gives you some comfort. In Sympathy, Kathy Kohler Heintschel

Sam and Ann would often share some of his excellent wine at St. Matthews Christmas parties. He inspired me to get back to making my own wine , which I am still doing. Thanks Sam Ken Kaires
