I had the pleasure of meeting Bob in class for skilled trades training. He was a very kind man and very knowledgeable about his craft. Bob had lots of stories for us about his life but spoke most about how he and his wife were planning on traveling and camping out west this summer. I just wanted to share a little piece of my short time knowing Bob and tol send my deepest condolances to his family! Ian Walker

I had the honor on many occasions to work alongside Bob when he was on Rossford Fire Department and I was on Northwood Fire Department. Bob was also one of my fire instructors in the early '90's when I was taking my Firefighter I-A course. Bob was a great guy and a great firefighter. I had just recently found out that he was a 1971 graduate of Macomber High School; I was also a student there from 1980-1982. Rest in Peace, Bob. We'll take it from here. Once a Macman, always a Macman. Kevin L. Emmitt Retired Firefighter/EMT Northwood Fire Department

Dear Gwiner Family...My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have known Bob for many years through the NOVFA Fire School Committee and I had the honor and privilege to serve as his assistant last year when he was Fire School Chairman. His passion for the Fire School and the Fire Service was only surpassed by his love for all of you. He spoke of you often and it was very obvious that he was proud of all of you. It is truly my honor and privilege to have known and worked with Bob.
