"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 To the family: Find great peace and comfort KNOWING that Pat has fulfilled her earthly duties, and they were done well! A lot of people make note of what they've done, take credit, and find some kind of way to announce (however subtle) who they are and what they've accomplished. Not Pat! her life, and the way she lived, her passion for people, her uncanny sense of how she could help average people in a society of greed and medical charlatanry gave her undeniable integrity with anyone who answered her simple "may I help you"? My Aunt Lee introduced me to the power of nutritional supplementation around or about 1975. It was Pat and Joe Bassett who gave me enough knowledge to use herbs, vitamins and diet strategically to take care of any and all medical conditions without the use of prescriptions. The last time I saw Pat around mid January...she simply asked me "if I was doing o.k." which I replied so far, so good". Needless to say, that it was a shock to learn of her passing just one month later. Again, to the family: USE her example of what it means to be a true humanitarian! Blessings! Keith Polin

I want to express how sorry Iam for the familys loss. There are some very comforting words found in Gods Word, the Bible, at Acts the 17th. chapter, verses 24 & 25 where God is called "the source of life"......the One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to our loved ones who have died. Another comforting scripture is found in the Bible book of Job, the 14th. chapter, verses 14 & 15. It speaks about how God longs to bring back those who are in His memory & see them live on earth again. I hope this brings the family comfort. My sincere condolence to you & yours. I'm so sorry to hear of Pat's passing, I will truly miss Pat's hugs and her soft kind voice. Pat and Joe were such a big part of what made Toledo such a great city, their need to serve their community was a blessing to us all. My parents went to them as did I and my siblings, they were very kind and so helpful to my family. Charmaine and Sabrina your parents were awesome people, Toledo will not be the same without them. Condolences to you both and your families. Rest in peace sweet Lady, you will be missed.

The Basssett family has our deepest sympathy. Our family and the Bassetts have been good friends for nearly 50 years. We have received nothing but helpful service and concern anytime we would call or visit the store. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed of the Bassett family rest in peace. Amen.

From the first moment I met Pat to the last time I saw her, I always felt her kindness. Her smile was like pure sunshine. If there was something she didn't know, she'd be the first to admit it and just as quickly, she'd set out to find the answer. I can feel her warm hugs, even now. Pat ( Mrs. B ), I will make a cheesecake (I remember how much you loved mine) in your honor this weekend. Love you, Annette

Pat was always so kind and accommodating to me . When the economy was tight and not so prosperous, she would touch my arm and so sincerely ask, "How are you doing? Really doing" It was more than mere words. I knew she cared. What a great lady. She and Joe were an incredible inspiration to so many. They are both so missed, by so many. May God rest their souls.

My condolences to the family of Pat. She was always very helpful when I came into the store, looking for a certain item, or getting it ordered for me(along also with her husband). In the days ahead, may Jesus embrace you all with His loving arms as you remember and celebrate her life legacy. She will not be forgotten in the hearts of all who knew her.
