Michael M. Elling left a message on December 5, 2019:
I had the great good fortune to attend both Junior High School, and Anthony Wayne High School with Nancy. She was smart in class and did all her lessons without complaint! Her natural ability with drawing led her to be remembered as our Queen of Art. She was also a marching general in the Band, a member of the celebrated Antonian's in dramatics and became a Thespian, in the Girls Athletic Association, sang in Mixed Chorus, was on the Debate Club, was in both the Latin and Science clubs, served on the yearbook Trail Blazer staff, and earned membership in the National Honor Society. It became no surprise to me that she went on to serve her community as a beloved elementary school teacher. --Michael Elling
