STACY FRUSHER left a message on September 13, 2019:
I'll share with you in writing what I would like to say about my Mom in front of you, but you wouldn't understand the words coming out of my mouth for all the tears. My Mom told me growing up be true to myself, be a leader, don't just follow the crowd. She raised us to Love God first, family, then all the rest. My Mom was strict. If we started a job, she expected us to finish it and give 110% with everything we did, chores, school, jobs, etc. She could've worked on timeliness alittle more; we were always late to church, weddings, parties, except to her own SURPRISE Birthday party, then she was an hour early! She was a good Grandma and a super Great-Grandma; they called her GG. I am happy for my Mom, she went to bed on Earth Sunday night and woke up in Heaven Monday!! She's with her Grandfather and Mom and her 2 brothers, Kenny and Gary David and meeting 2 babies she didn't get to know here. Plus so much more. The first person to greet my Mom in Heaven was Jesus. He said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." xxoo Stacy
Michelle Harris left a message on September 13, 2019:
My name is Michelle Harris and I am one of Karen Meek's grandchildren. I have many fond memories of my grandma when I was a child, but this particular memorie is from when I became an adult. My bestfriend, who lived right next door to me, would often come over when my grandma was visiting. In a way I think they became friends and my grandma Karen became her grandma as well. Then, one summer I received unfortunate about my bestfriend. Do to some unfortunate circumstances she had passed away and as soon as my grandma found out, she called me right away so she could comfort me. We spent 2-3 hours on the phone talking to each other that day and for the next month as well. Now I didn't expect her to go, but she came all the same anyway, to my bestfriends funeral. She sat with me, wrapped her arm around me and we cried together. And even though my bestfriend went far to soon, she was only in her young 20s when she passed. I know she was there, standing at the gate with all the other's, to welcome my grandma back home.
