Dearest Sandy, we were so sorry to hear of Jorge's passing. Although your time together was not long enough, you two seemed to pack so much living into those few years. The memories you shared, especially in Botswana and elsewhere, will last forever. He was always willing to jump on the court to fill in when needed, and always willing to support you by cheering from the gallery. That man always had a smile on his face and we know you will miss him. Take heart in knowing that his suffering is over and that he is at peace. May you find your own inner peace. God bless you. Fondly, Craig and Kris Frederickson

Dear Sandy and Family, Sincere & warm condolences. I Enjoyed sitting with Jorge at the TSC wine tasting last year. talking about music and guitars. .He was very humble and kind, I could sense his musical talent - would have been great to strum with him.

We were so happy when Sandra and Jorge met. It really was a match made in heaven. But this is when I fell in love with him. They are down for Thanksgiving and I say Jorge how about bringing your guitar down Christmas eve and playing a few Christmas songs. Jorge replies well I really do not know any Christmas songs. We were interrupted and I never gave it another thought. Christmas eve into my house comes Jorge, a piano keyboard, a guitar, an amp sound system and an array of Christmas songs he had learned for the occasion. We will miss him!

My heart is filled with unhappiness at the heartbreaking news of Jorge's passing. I will always cherish his infectious smile, playing tennis, eating breakfast at McDonald's, traveling to jazz concerts and ski trips. Sandy, during your loss, may you and your family be blessed with God's gifts of inner peace and strength. Manzetta
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

We are so saddened to hear of Jorge’s passing, Sandy, and send you our heartfelt condolences. You made a great couple and really knew how to pack the most into your all-too-short time together. Anne couldn’t have found better caretakers of her beloved VW Eurovan; it made her happy that you could enjoy travels with it after your return from Botswana. We will miss Jorge’s kind, gentle spirit, as well as his winning smile and sense of humor. Please know, Sandy, that we have you uppermost in our thoughts. Hugs, Anne Burnham & Guenter Manczur

George was a very good friend of mine. I remember many times going over to his house and listening to stories from his father who was in the silent movies. His parents were very nice people. George , Frank Flores, and myself were all drafted in June of 1969. George and I were in the same basic training unit at Fort Knox Kentucky. He will be missed by many and was a super nice guy. Paulette and my condolences to his family. We lost a great friend and class mate.

To the Family: So sorry about the loss of your dear loved one. The Bible tells of times where we won't have to deal with death anymore at Rev 21:3,4. May you find comfort in the scriptures during this difficult time.

To Sandra, tho I only knew Jorge for a short time, I will always remember his card playing skills for Tonk, Euchre, or Poker; Jorge was really fun to play with and he always presented a wonderful bit of laughter during the games, especially when we were Euchre partners(we are undefeated?). My best to you and yours!

I'll always treasure the October 2016 trip to South Africa and Botswana when Jorge and Sandy led us on a trip of a lifetime ! It was so fun to get their insider's viewpoint and stories through the trip . Jorge was so happy and seemed in his favorite place on that trip, except when it was 102'....

I went to school with Jorge from grade school through 12th grade at Holy Redeemer in Detroit. A lot of us in the class of '67 hung out together Not all of us had cars in high school so many times we had to pile into Jorge's trusty green Morris Minor, ten at a time. We had great times tooling around the city looking for adventure and whatever came our way. for those of us who practice bhakti yoga, death is only a door to got through on the way to a good new life, so I refer to Jorge in the present tense: Jorge- Rock on buddy , you're always with us. My heart felt condolences to his famili Radhashyam Das / Rad / Ralph
