Our sadness is great as are our sympathies for his family. He was a sweet soul. Always loved my desserts, especially pies. We both loved visiting them on the farm and over the last couple years at Genoa Care Center. I thank you for letting us know when he moved. We liked talking old times and new with both brothers, about politics and current affairs. Rick met them when he was a runner and would stop to talk with them on his runs. I met them 25 years ago when I moved to the area. And I mean they physically did this job. I brought them some cookies and they loved them. We would see them at the German Club in Oregon occasionally while they enjoyed the food and music. We will truly miss our talks and taking them sweets. They were the kindest most caring people I have ever met.

I am sorry to hear about Johns passing. The whole Halicek family were great people. I grewup down the Street from them in Genoa, before they moved to the farm.

Dear Halicek Family. John was such a sweet man. I very much enjoyed talking to him when I went to visit mom in the Genoa Retirement Home. I'm sure he is enjoying being reunited with his brothers, friends (my dad) and other family members. Hope your all coping well. Love, Lynda (Matyas) Klavinger
