Sincere condolences to family and friends mourning John's passing on from this world to his next. John was such a good friend of St John's members and a joy to see all the help he attentively assisted his momma with for so many years until her passing. Rest now, John, as you transition to your heavenly home to return to family who await your arrival. Hugs to all. Denise L. Clair, former St John's, Oak Harbor Member; currently residing in Melbourne Australia.

My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Harris family and relatives. I will always remember John Harris as a knowledgeable, helpful, enthusiastic man. He could tell you how to drive anywhere. Better than On-Star, is JOHN-Star! He was always willing to lend you advice. John once taught me at an auction how to tell how many more sharpenings a tool has in it by how much metal remains after you shave some off each time it is sharpened. I'll always remember playing brass with him on the iconic American Legion Band parade float (2017 picture attached), as well as bringing good cheer to so many seniors when we played in the parks and retirement homes, not to mention the St. John's Lutheran Brass Choir, bringing such joy and rejoicing to the Lord!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My deepest sympathy to John’s family. May your happy memories bring you comfort at this difficult time and know always you will see John again in our heavenly home. I have fond memories of John telling stories at my Uncle Elmer’s home and how he loved to play his horn in the band or church.
