To the Magrum Family: Sorry to hear about your loss, May the God of all comfort give you peace and comfort at this most difficult time. Please read 2 Corinthians 1:2-4 and John 5:28,29 Where Jesus gives us a wonderful hope that is soon to be realized. That is the hope of the resurrection. What a blessing for your family and mine. If you would like to learn more about this wonderful hope please go to jw.org and download a free copy of the book” What Can The Bible Teach Us? And read chapter 7” There Will Be A Resurrection. It is our hope that this information will help you and your family now and in the future.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

We're holding the Magrum family close to our hearts in prayer as you mourn the great loss of your son, your brother, your uncle, your nephew, or your cousin. He was a dear friend and classmate of mine. Rest well, Jay!

Jason was a man of few words but he always kept them soft and he never had an unkind word for anyone. Even when he was faced with hardship he would search for the silver lining in whatever situation he was presented with and he would press on in good faith that the sun would come up tomorrow. Jay was the kind of friend that you could go several months or even years without hearing from, but whenever you did make contact you seemlessly picked up right where you left off as if time had stood still One of the things I loved most about Jay was that he never felt the need to be like everybody else. He didn't follow anyone's lead. He'd much rather find his own way even if it meant there was a chance he would fall a little bit behind. He was a "love me or leave me" kinda guy. Never afraid to just be himself. Simple, funloving, and big hearted. I admired that about him. After meeting his beautiful mother for the first time at his services yesterday, it's easy to see where he and his siblings got their hearts from. Jason was a golden friend. I was very lucky to to have called him one of mine. Now he has golden wings to match his personality. Fly free now, buddy and rest eternal in Heavenly peace! I will see you again someday. Love you, Maggy! You will be missed. ♡ Wen

I’m sending my sincere condolences to the Magrum family and friends. This is one of life’s greatest challenges that we have to face. Jesus said, did, and promised something that gives us comfort and hope. In the Bible at John 11:11-14, Jesus likened death to sleep. This comfort us in two ways: 1) we are assured by those words that our loved ones are not suffering or in pain. 2) If a person is just sleeping, he will wake up! Notice what Jesus does next at John 11:43-44, this is amazing! Jesus promised us something similar at John 5:28-29, what a beautiful hope we have! If you would like to know more details about this, please download a free copy of the brochure Good News from God @ Jw.org and read lesson 6 along with the Bible.
