Chris and children, I have know Gary since he was a toddler as his family lived right behind us while we were in school. My sister, Jill, brother, Jim and I all have fond memories of the "good old days" with Gary, his brother Jim and his parents. I know the loving arms of our Lord are around Gary and he is now at peace.

To the entire Vischer Family I consider myself fortunate to have been one of the Visch's Fishes. Gary taught me much about swimming, but even more about life. He brought joy, technique and determination to each practice and every race. I'm certain that these legacies will live long with me and the others lucky enough to have been touch by his life. Dear Vischer Family, I was very sadden to hear about Gary and I am truly sorry I couldn't be there to say good bye, but it is comforting to know that he is swimming again in Heaven. I was a Visch's fish and what a great time our family had riding to swim meets in that old station wagon, the most rememerable trip was going to Ft. Lauderdale in the station wagon listen to Steve Miller 8 track tape over and over...it was an honor to know Gary. Chris, Cary, Wendy and Amber you were so blessed to have such a great man in your life. Best wishes. JoJo Emmenecker Regan

Although we didn't share too many years together, I learned a lot and shared some good times. Your kindness, sense of humor, and wealth of knowledge will be missed. You will be missed by many, but not forgotten. Corey and Laura Burgermeister
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I know Mr. Vischer touched many lives in the swimming community alone. I had the fortune of starting my own swim career swimming with his daughter, Amber. Her enthusiasm for the sport no doubt was instilled in her by her father. Although I know he will be missed beyond what words can convey, I can see he lived a diverse and fulfilling life. May we all learn from him to follow likewise.

I had the privilege of working with Gary at Bedford J.H.S., and always enjoyed his ever-present smile. His love for the students was evident in everything he did as a terrific teacher. My prayer is that fond memories of Gary, together with the Lord's strength, will sustain all who cared about Gary through any difficult times.
