My sincere condolences to Dr. Taylor's family. I was his patient from my birth until he retired. I have only the fondest of memories of him and his whole practice on the Trail and later in Maumee and, then, Perrysburg. He was a no-nonsense but also a very kindly doctor who knew his patients. I missed him very much after he retired. I'll always remember the 'tumbling E' chart when I had to point which way the E went as a unlettered child. And, my mother telling me he told her don't bring Billy when he hasn't had a nap! Another great story was when the idiotic school district decided to test my eyes and sent a note home to my mother to have my eyes checked. Dr. Taylor was livid! He said what's wrong with these people, can't they see he wears glasses. I look forward to seeing him again, someday. Bill Palenske
