My heartfelt condolences to the Zimmerman Family. I have fond childhood memories of cousins Dave and Bob on their family farm in Oak Harbor. We only made one family visit from California, but we three boys spent some happy days together. We will meet again on the other side. GOD's Blessing.
Jamie Arthur left a message on September 4, 2019:
Papa Zimm was the kind of man who didn’t like to be wrong. He was the kindest, gentlest, and most generous man I have ever met. I will miss his stories, his jokes, his stubbornness and the many stories about hunting and his life. Papa Zimm loved so very much, and it breaks my heart that he’s no longer with us. I pray for everyones peace and comfort during this time of unbearable sadness. Papa Zimm will be greatly missed. A hero to me, a commrade, a friend and a brother in arms. Papa Zimm gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your memory lives within me, forever in my heart Rest In Peace
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

We will miss Dave all the times we met and stopped and talked about his grandkids and ours on our golfcarts and the latest news in Graytown he always had a smile for everyone. Don and I remember the softball games in our younger years and how much fun we had with Dave. Don's greatest memories are the card games the Graytown guys played at Lennie's Bar, he will be greatly missed. Our sincere sympathy to your family.

He will truly be missed. He is a staple in my memories growing up and always living here in Graytown. I will miss waving hello as he golf carted by my house. Carrie, Libby, LouAnn, and families, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
