I went to school with Chuck in Bellevue, Ohio. He was a leader from early on. In 6th grade, he stood up for me in a situation that improved my life significantly. It was huge. I never forgot it and sent him a thank you letter about 10 or 15 years ago. I haven’t seen him in over 40 years but he was a childhood hero. May he rest in peace. Nancy O’Brien Luce

Chuck was a good friend with a genuinely generous spirit. As I remember him, that spirit lives on. Whenever I had the chance to see him, he acted as if no time had passed. Rest In Peace.
