Grandpa, it’s hard to express how amazing you are. You have been there, encouraged and inspired me so much throughout my life. You always put our family and grandma first and I thank you so much for that. You and grandma are my role models for marriage and family. I’m so lucky to have you guys to look up to. My heart breaks and breaks when I think that you won’t be there at the head of the table for dinners. I’ll miss your witty jokes, amazing stories and comments like “aw hell”, “I’m doing ok for an old guy,” “hello my granddaughter,” “it came from the fat city bakery.” I know you are still with us in spirit but I just miss you so much. I’m so thankful for the time we got to spend together these last 7 weeks. You are so wonderful. So strong. Thank you for all that you’ve done here on Earth. Kiss Craig for me. I’ll do the same for grandma for you. Love you forever and ever.

'Be not afraid, I go before you always. Come, follow Me, and I will give you rest'. May Jesus our God of comfort hold you all in the palm of His hand as you remember and celebrate Carl's life legacy. jwfacts.org has been a valuable resource and we thoughtfully share.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I want to express how sorry Iam for the familys loss. There are some very comforting words found in Gods Word, the Bible, at Acts the 17th. chapter, verses 24 & 25 where God is called "the source of life"......the One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to our loved ones who have died. Another comforting scripture is found in the Bible book of Job, the 14th. chapter, verses 14 & 15. It speaks about how God longs to bring back those who are in His memory & see them live on earth again. I hope this brings the family comfort. My sincere condolence to you & yours. Grandpa, I just spoke with you the other day and you seemed in such great shape. I am so saddened by this news and will be on a flight tomorrow from Cali to come to your visitation. You were the BEST Grandpa anyone could ask and an AMAZING great Grandpa to my children. I will miss you SO, SO much and I am so glad you told me you loved me so much the other night so I could say it to you too. We will keep Grandma entertained so she is ok. <3
