Zoica Gal

Zoica Gal, 77, passed away on April 16, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital. Zoica was born in the village of Asprogia, Greece on March 12, 1937 to Petros and Fani Begopulou Manopulous. She was a Jeep retiree from the Toledo Assembly Complex. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing authentic Hungarian and Greek dishes for her family. Zoica passion was to be an intricate part in her grandchildrens lives. Along with her husband Ferenc, Zoica loved to travel and especially loved being in Florida. She enjoyed music, dancing, but the true love of her life was her family. Zoica was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ferenc, and brother, Nikos Manopulous. She is survived by her son, Frank Judy Gal; daughter, Hilda Tom Mangotic; grandchildren, Frank Gal III, Steven Gal, Dan Okenka, Nick Okenka, Tommy Mangotic, Mike Mangotic, Tyler Mangotic; great grandchildren, Zoica Okenka, Leila Okenka, Harper Mangotic; sisters, Helen Yanchos of Australia and Katarina Atainaszioszne of Hungary. Visitation will be on Monday April 21, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.
