Zella C. Johnson

JOHNSON Zella C. Johnson, Zella C., age 97, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008, at her residence, Sunset Village in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born May 15, 1910, in Elliot, Iowa. Zella married Leonard Johnnie Johnson on June 30, 1935. She was preceded in death by him in 1984. Zella lived in Toledo on Powhattan Parkway from 1953 until she moved to Crestview Club Apartments in 2000. She lived there until she moved to Sunset Village a year and a half ago. Zella was a member of Pilgrim Church on Sylvania Avenue in Toledo for 58 years. She is survived by her 3 children, Philip Johnson, Linda Furtsch, and Josie Johnson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 3, 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH. Walker Funeral Home 419 841-2422 is handling the arrangements.
