Zachary Alan Leffler

Zachary A. Leffler “Z” died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the age of 25. Zach was born on September 21, 1991 to Al and Stacey Leffler. He was a 2010 graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School. Zach had a natural ability with sports from a very young age with football, baseball and hockey as his passion, which he excelled during his high school years. Zach had been employed by Treu House of Munch for 5 years. Zach leaves behind his girlfriend, Miranda Orth and their beautiful 1 year old daughter Kinzley K. Leffler, which he adored. Unfortunately, eight years ago Zach’s mother, Stacey, passed away unexpectedly. Surviving are his father; Al, along with his three brothers, Austin, Ethan, and Evan; maternal grandparents Bob and Karen Crawford; with many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. In Miranda’s words “If Zach loved anything it was Kinzley. The way she lit up the room really lit a fire in his heart. He stayed motivated and loved what he was doing in his life because he knew it was all for her. Zach was such an active and athletic man. Whenever he got the chance to run and play he did. From high school sports, to working in a warehouse, to playing outside with his daughter, he did it all with love. His smile and laugh were very contagious and he brought out the humor in most things. Zach truly had a sparkle that impacted others. We will always be reminded of Zach through his beautiful daughter, Kinzley.” The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 2-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Services will be held on October 14th 2016 at 10:00am at Christ the King Church 4100 Harvest Lane Toledo, Ohio with interment at the Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Zach’s memory may be made to a trust fund for Kinzley K. Leffler through the Crowdfunding link on his memorial page at walkerfuneralhomes.com
