Winifred G. Redford, 87, passed away peacefully at Spring Meadows Senior Community on December 13, 2015. Winifred was born November 2, 1928 in England to Alphonso and Josephine (Feeney) Head. She married E. Franklin Redford on July 3, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio and he preceded her in death in 2003. She worked in retail for 20 years for Rink’s Bargain City. Winifred was an active military wife, always supporting the military and wounded warriors. She loved to play cards, especially Spoons and Uno with her grandchildren. Winifred will be remembered for her big heart and always putting her family first. She is survived by her children, Sandra L. Wallace, Robert E. (Cathy) Redford, David F. Redford and John M. (Tamie) Redford; nine grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren and brother, Donnie Head. Along with her husband, Franklin, she was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Kristine Kaye Wallace and two brothers and two sisters. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11 A.M. Burial will be private at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310, White Plains, NY, 10605.
