Wilma Doris Rust

Wilma Doris Rust, 94, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully September 18, 2013 following a brief illness. Wilma was born December 2, 1918 in Luckey, OH to William and Mabel Rothenbuhler Samson. She married Lester Rust on June 6, 1944, and he died February 8, 1986. Wilma was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include: daughter: Mary Lou Hamilton of Clyde, sons: James Donna Rust of Clyde, Raymond Mary Rust of Port Clinton, David Beverly Rust of Oak Harbor, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, sister: Ruth Nelson Berger of Fremont, sister-in-law Mabel Simpson of Toledo. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers: Lowell, Frederick, and Robert Samson, sisters: Lois Fox and Marie Daily, granddaughter: Lisa Hamilton, and sons-in-law: Charles Shaull and Loney Hamilton. Visitation will be 2-8pm, Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
