Wilma Dominique, a beloved mother of 9, grandmother and great grandmother of 27, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 11, 2008. Born on February 20, l925 to Joseph and Elda Bevard Cauffiel, Wilma lived and raised her family in the Monclova countryside alongside Donald, her husband of 57 years. Her life centered around her Christian faith, her dedication to her family, and her piano music. She and Donald belonged to St. Josephs Catholic Church and prayed and read the bible nightly as a family. Their motto was The family that prays together, stays together. She helped start a Bible study in l978 at St. Josephs and attended the Little Flower prayer group. She lived a humble life and sacrificed to provide for her children whom she loved deeply. Her children appreciated her prayers for their direction in life and she instilled them a faith in Jesus Christ. As a piano teacher, she enjoyed playing the piano accompanied by Don on his alto sax. Their music legacy has been passed on to their grand children, who play many instruments and sing in the choir. Wilma is survived by her children, Suzanne, Yvonne, Donald, Veronica, Marie, Christine, Frances, Alexander, and June.
