William L. Ziegler

William L. Ziegler, age 81, formerly of Midwood Ave, passed away Tuesday December 18, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice. The son of Elmer and Amelia Ziegler, he was born Nov. 29, 1931 in Toledo. Following graduation from Macomber High School in 1949, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he began working for the railroad until his retirement after 31 years in 1982. Bill was a quiet man who will be remembered as the family caregiver who devoted himself to his family. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Gary Gross, Linda Gross, Sherry Todd, Robin Tim Whitney, Scott Carla Todd, Jill Robert Martin; 4 great nephews and 1 great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Carolyn Todd and Joanne Anderson. There will be no visitation and burial will be private. Arrangements by the Walker Funeral Home 419-841-2422.
