William C. Weaver

WILLIAM C. WEAVER William Weaver, age 94, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. William was born in Montpelier, Ohio on November 29, 1917 to Earl & Ruby (McDonald) Weaver. He married Alice Marie Vollmer in Wauseon on November 19, 1939 and she preceded him in death on February 15, 2002. An Army Veteran, William was a member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church and worked for Seaway Foodtown for over 31 years. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, taking trips to Florida and being with his grandchildren. Surviving is his daughter, Janet (Richard) Smith; James (Susan) Weaver; Robert (Janis) Weaver; Richard (Patricia) Weaver; grandchildren, Laura; Cindy; John; Chris; Lindsay; Ashley; great-grandchildren, Luke; Carli; Bailey; Alec; Bram; Levi; Colin; Jack; Maryn; Madison and sister, Phyllis Beamer. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leon, Carl & Richard Weaver. Friends will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) on Friday January 6, 2012 from 3-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 10 am from Epiphany Lutheran Church, 915 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
