William T. Walters

William T. Bill Walters, 80, of Toledo and Belleair, Florida, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born November 19, 1933 in Toledo to the late William and Helen (Kovach) Walters. Bill attended Central Catholic High School, the University of Toledo and the University of Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bill was employed with McNeil Products and Owens-Illinois prior to forming Herco Products, a supplier to the medical industry. Bill is survived by his children, Dianne Keffales, William Bill Jr., Julie, Sue and Tom Walters; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Helen Lambillotte; and significant other of 30-years, Pam Puterbaugh. He was also preceded in death by daughters, Lori and Cathy. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Alzheimers Association.
