William “Bill” Waller, age 91 of Toledo, Ohio died Friday, November 8, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born June 17, 1922 in Toledo to William A. and Elsie Waller and on December 22, 1945 he married Jeanette Gauthia Waller who preceded him in death on October 25, 2011. A World War II Army Veteran, Bill served as a Staff Sergeant in the South Pacific. He was employed by Kiemle-Hankins Company for over 40 years, retiring in 1985 as the General Manager of their small motor division. He and his family were former members of Reformation Lutheran Church where he had served as President of the church council. He was currently a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, active in American Legion Post #553 where he had served as Post Commander in 2002 and 2003 and in his spare time he enjoyed baseball, and bowling. He is survived by his son, Charles W. (Cindy) Waller; grandchildren, William (Samantha) Waller, Molly Wilkes, Charles (Michelle) Waller; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elsie; wife, Jeanette as well as his granddaughter, Tabitha McGhee. Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. and Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 9-10 A.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Reynolds Corners Chapel, 5052 Dorr Street, Toledo (419-535-0951) where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so in Bill’s name to American Legion Post #553.
