William E. Stevenson

William E. Windy Stevenson, 73, of Waterville, Ohio died Saturday April 14, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee, OH. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 9, 1938 to William E. and Lillian Hobbs Stevenson, Sr. He married LuAnn OBrien in Toledo, Ohio in 1973. Bill drove truck for over 40 years for Norwalk Truck Line, Interstate System and D-C Transport Jeep Fleet, retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as an airborne MP while stationed in Germany. He was a member of Perrysburg First United Methodist Church, the Teamsters Local 20, the UAW Local 12, the American Legion Post #320, and the Maumee Elks Lodge 1850. He enjoyed family get-togethers, fishing and golfing, where his hobby was to assemble custom golf clubs. William is survived by his wife LuAnn; daughter Marcie Hubbell Larry Morehouse of Perrysburg; son James Stevenson of Maumee; granddaughter Tiffany Hubbell of Toledo; grandson Bradley Hahn; great grandsons Brayden Eby and Nolan Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Sherry Biroth. Visitation for William will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday April 19, 2012 in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio.
