William Bill C. Shanteau, 51, of Curtice, died early Saturday morning, January 9, 2016, at Beaumont Hospital in Gross Pointe, Michigan. Bill was born June 25, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert and Donna (Swartz) Shanteau. He was a graduate of Clay High School; and on July 31, 1984, in Toledo, he married Lisa R. Fredrickson and she survives. For 31 years Bill worked at Chrysler Corp. Jefferson North Plant in Detroit in the paint mix room. He was a classic car lover and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bill loved his family, was a good husband, father and grandfather. He was kind-hearted, always smiling and thoughtful and would help anyone with anything. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his son, Robert M. (Amanda) Shanteau of Millbury, daughter, Brittany A. Shanteau (Chris) of Butler, OH, and son, William R. Shanteau of Curtice; grandchildren, Rylee and Kinsley Shanteau and Blake Barnett; sister, Debbie (Jeff) Quigg of Northwood; father and mother-in-law, Ray and Shirley Fredrickson of Curtice; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 14, 2016. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, Ohio, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Bill may be given to the Genoa Area Local Schools Scholarship Foundation, P.O.
