William Patrick Rheinbolt

November 27, 1964 — February 11, 2021

William Patrick Rheinbolt, or better known as Patrick, died unexpectedly on February 11, 2021 at the age of 56. Patrick was born at Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Maumee, Ohio. He attended Maumee High School and was part of the graduating class of 1983. Growing up Patrick loved playing ice hockey and even did some modeling as a young adult. To all who knew him, he was a jack of all trades. Enlisting in the Navy in 1990, Patrick served as a FMF corpsman until he was honorably discharged in 1997. From here, he enrolled in classes at the University of Toledo, completed his nursing degree, and became a RN. In his free time, he played golf, spent time with his friends and family, and enjoyed life. He is survived by his father, Larry Rheinbolt; his fiancé, Amy Keil; his brothers, Richard Rheinbolt (Sally) and Edward Rheinbolt (Christi); his children, Austin Rheinbolt, Bethany Nasby, Mckenna Schell, and Bella Rheinbolt as well as Amy’s daughters, Kelsey (Randall), Kristi, and Kassie; and all of the nieces and nephews he loved so dearly. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Noelle (Gossard) Rheinbolt. These are the characteristics of Patrick’s life, but here’s who he was to all who loved him… A man of many voices. Quite literally, he was constantly doing impressions and creating different voices. His main objective was to see others smile and bring them joy. All Patrick ever wanted was to see others happy. Patrick was always the loudest person in a room, was continually talking without pause, and had a story for everything no matter the subject. Life excited Patrick regardless the occasion. His emotions were always set to a thousand and it was always known how he felt. He was not afraid to tell his family and friends how much he loved them. It speaks volumes for a man to accept three young girls who were not his daughters as his own without question and with unconditional love. This was exactly who Patrick was; he loved so unconditionally. He never met a stranger. Contributing to what made him such a wonderful nurse was his desire to love and take care of anyone he met. Patrick was a caregiver and he always worried about others over himself. This included his love for cooking to ensure all who he loved were fed. As a proud veteran, Patrick was always excited to meet a fellow military member. Patrick could typically be found decked out head to toe in Navy memorabilia. Stories of his time in the Navy were some of his favorite to tell and will surely be missed.
