William R. Thomas

William R. Thomas, 71, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born on December 19, 1949 in Fostoria, OH to Richard J. and Margaret L. (Workley) Thomas. Bill served in the U.S. Army from November of 1968 – June 1971. On February 19, 1972 in Fostoria, OH he married Diane L. Boos, and she survives. Bill had previously worked for the Fostoria Foundry. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and reading. Bill really loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. In addition to his loving wife of over 49 years, Diane, Bill is survived by sons, William J. Thomas and Scott Turner, 2 granddaughters, Aubree and Courtnie Thomas, sister, Carrie Thomas, and brothers, Richard J. (Lydia) Thomas and David A. Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Margie Pelton, and nephews, Kenny Pelton and Shane Geoghegan. Per Bill’s wishes, he will be cremated under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH and there will be no services.
