William Pohlman, Sr.

William C. Bill Pohlman, Sr., age 83, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at The Heritage Corner Health Care Campus in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born on April 7, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Ruth Pohlman. Bill was a 1952 graduate of Libbey High School in Toledo where he was a letter winner in track. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, the Cleveland Browns and especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. Bill is survived by his children, William C. Pohlman, Jr. (Nancy), Kenneth D. Pohlman (Karen), Wendy Laird (Mark) and James C. Pohlman (Marianne);11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and brother Charles Pohlman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta and siblings, Lois Yunker and Jack and Frank Pohlman. The family would like to send a Thank You to the Heritage Corner staff for all their love and care for Bill. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday October 17, 2017 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
