William Avery Mitchell

William Avery Mitchell, 78, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born on November 16, 1941 in Wise, VA to Olie and Dora (Potter) Mitchell.  William worked as a truck driver.  He had previously lived in Las Vegas and enjoyed the casinos while he was there.  He also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. William is survived by his daughters, Lori Mitchell, Lana Mitchell, Toni (John) Knecht, Rhonda Taylor, and Glennie Mestrez, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brothers, Bob (Mary) Mitchell and Joe (Rose) Mitchell, sister, Betty Harvey, and his ex-wife, Christine Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Raye and Fay, and infant brother, Eddie. Per Williams wishes, cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, OH and there will be no services at this time.
