William H Mcmeekan, Jr

WILLIAM H. McMEEKAN, JR. William H. McMeekan, Jr. departed this earth on December 9, 2016. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on 11-11-1958 to William, Sr. and Phyllis (Parker). They moved to Maumee, Ohio in 1970. He graduated from Maumee High School in 1977 and earned a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelors in Computer Science. He retired from Lanier Worldwide in 2005. Bill will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor, fighting spirit, willingness to help others and being “a hell of a nice guy.” His love of life will continue on thru his wife, Mary Beth (Watkeys), children, Devan and William Parker, sisters-in-law, Raye Ann (Keith) Langlois, Jane Berry, Theresa (Todd) Wandstrat and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was welcomed to heaven by his parents, 3 infant siblings, In-laws Joseph and Audrey (Ahlers) Watkeys, and many other loving family members. His life will be celebrated and memories shared on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 1-4 P.M. with a celebration of life service beginning at 4 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy., Holland, Ohio 43528. Memorial contributions may be made in William’s name to the National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA, 22030.
