William Bill Curtis Mcdaniel

William Bill Curtis McDaniel, 68, of Curtice, Ohio, died Saturday afternoon, July 4, 2015 at Bay Park Community Hospital in Oregon. He was born May 5, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to Curtis N. and Janice M. (Brown) McDaniel. On December 31, 1992, in Curtice, he married Maria Teresa Slawinski and she survives. Bill was an ironworker for Local 55 in construction for many years. He loved to hunt and golf. Bill was a loving husband, devoted dad and proud papa and had a special place in his heart for his lab, Daisie. In addition to his wife, Maria, Bill is survived by his son, Eric (Staci) McDaniel, grandchildren, Rya Marie and Myken William, step children, Jon Lanning and Jessica Lanning, and step grandchildren, Rowen Allen and Raden Thomas. He is also survived by his siblings, Sharalyn VanSteenkiste, Ral McDaniel and Nevin (Deb) McDaniel. His parents and son, Ryan Curtis McDaniel, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Burial will follow the service in Clay Township Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions for Bill to go to the Genoa Athletic Boosters Scholarship, c/o Genoa Area Local Schools Scholarship Found., P.O.
