William Marshall Weaver, 93, of Rossford, Ohio, died July 13, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born February 28, 1924 in West Point, Tennessee to Walker and Mary Jo (Story) Weaver. Marshall served in the U.S. Army during World War II with Company L 10th Infantry regiment. He married Roberta (Todd) on December 23, 1947. He retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford (LOF) after 34 years. He was a longtime member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was ordained as a deacon in 1971. He had a knack for repairing lawnmowers and did so for many friends and Rossford area residents. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Brown and son-in-law, Daniel Nichpor. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; son, Stanley (Linda) Weaver and daughter, Judy Nichpor; grandsons, Preston (Rebecca) Baker, Wesley (Sarah Stewart/Skylar Zarecky) Baker and Jeremy (Traci) Weaver; great-grandchildren, Noah, Kylie & Sydney Baker and Anne & Aria Weaver; sister, Gean Lipscomb and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133). The funeral will take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Glenwood Road, Rossford, Ohio. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
