William T Laderach

William T. Bill Laderach, age 84, of Maumee, OH passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, surrounded by his family, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born September 7, 1923 in Toledo to Adolph and Christina Laderach who immigrated from Switzerland. Bill was a bricklayer for Local 3 in Toledo for more than 50 years, retiring in 1986. A U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, Bill was an avid bowler, even teaching himself to bowl left-handed after starting dialysis and having a fistula in his right arm. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening. Bill was preceded in death by his son, William Laderach, Jr., parents and brothers, John, George, Rudolph and Richard Laderach. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Berning Laderach; sons, David Evelyn and Gary Sheila Laderach; grandchildren, Holly Brad McCormick and Nathan and Katarina Laderach; 2 great grandchildren, Brad McCormick, Jr. and Hannah McCormick; brothers, Paul and Hank Laderach; and sister, Marguerite Squibb. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH.
