William Charles Krouse

William C. Bill Krouse, age 81, of Lambertville, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 2, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Ruth Anna Weber Krouse. A graduate of Scott High School, he served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1949 to 1953. Bill was appointed to the Toledo Fire Department in 1963 and retired in 1989 after serving at Station #10. Bill loved traveling and having a bowl of ice cream. He was active in Shelton Park Church of God and served in a Pastoral Care ministry there. In his retirement, he was a currier for ProMedica. He also recently completed an Honor Flight to Washington DC in April as a proud veteran. Bill is survived by his wife, Juanita; son, Chuck Julie Krouse; grandson, Steven; brother-in-law, Bill Rich of Perrysburg and sister-in-law, Delores Sanders of Canton, OH. He is also survived by marriage his step-children, Bill Diane DePew, Lenny Cathy DePew, Lisa Larry McLaughlin; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Jean in 2001, as well as his brother, Harley Krouse, sister, Ruthie Mullins. With thanksgiving, the family of William C. Krouse invites you to A Celebration of Bills life on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 3 to 8 pm at the Shelton Park Church of God, 8702 Douglas Rd., Temperance, Michigan with a Last Alarm Service at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10 am at Shelton Park Church of God. Interment will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
