William Bill Koprowski, 75, of Point Place, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Bill was born February 14, 1943 to Frank and Irene (Holewinski) Koprowski in Toledo, OH. He worked for Chrysler Jeep for 35 years, retiring in 1997. Bill was a lifelong resident of Point Place and a member of St. John the Baptist Church. He had a passion for woodworking, and also enjoyed trains, bike riding, and attending sporting events. Bill had a special knack for finding a sale and haggling with sellers to get the best bargain. Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He found his greatest joy spending time with his family and loved attending his grandchildrens activities. Bill also enjoyed hanging out with his buddies at Cullen Park and around Lake Erie. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Connie; children, Brian (Laura) and Renee (Chris) Moore; grandchildren, Brandon and Dylan Koprowski, and Ethan and Eryk Moore; sister, Jackie Terrasi; brother, Jerry; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
