William “Huck” Ray Kinstler, 76, of Graytown, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Virginia “Ginny” L. (Levens) Kinstler, whom he married on November 19, 1966, in Alamogordo, NM. Huck was born on July 11, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, a son of the late Orville Sr. and Flossie (DeLong) Kinstler.
Huck attended Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio and obtained his GED while serving in the United States Army, from 1963-1966. In 1966 he began working as a carpenter for Libby Glass, Inc. in Toledo, a job he held for over 40 years, until his retirement. Huck enjoyed fishing and hunting and the solitude of being close to nature. He had many talents, one of which was his proficiency for woodworking and putting together puzzles.
Along with his loving wife Ginny, Huck is survived by his children, Tammy Kinstler, Tina (Jim) Baumgartner, and Stacey (Eric) Kruse; grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle, Tyler, & Makayla Johnson and Ethan & Madeleine Kruse; and great grandchildren, Kynsley, Owen, and Cooper Johnson, with a fourth one on the way. In addition to his parents, Huck was preceded in death by his brother, Orville “Butch” Kinstler, Jr.
Visitation for Huck will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2022, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Toledo, at a later date.
