William F. Keller

William F. Keller, beloved husband, father, granddad and brother, passed forward peacefully, to be in the most glorious of all places, Heaven, on April 14, 2013. He was born September 22, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to the parents of Sylvester and Eugenia Keller. In 1956, he married the love of his life, Ruth Keller, who passed forward on January 25 of this year. Bill served with honor in the US Navy during the Korean War and worked at AT&T Ohio Bell for 45 years as a lineman and operations executive. Bill also volunteered tirelessly for AT&T Pioneers where he led the installation of remote viewing cameras for wildlife observation at Maumee Bay State Park, among many other philanthropic activities. Bill and Ruth were happily married for 56 years, and raised 4 wonderful children, Jean Keller, Diana Tim Boggs, Beth Mark Barghini, and Bill Julie Keller. He had 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, who all adored him. He is also survived by his brother Jim Pat Keller, and 2 sisters, Barbara Dennis and Mary Hellen Don Knuth. Friends and family may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee, Ohio on Thursday, April 18, 2013, from 5PM-8PM. A celebration of life for Bill will be held on Friday, April 19 at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
