William Lee Jakeway

William Lee Jakeway, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Inpatient Unit on December 23, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Born in Detroit, Michigan to Clare and Hildegarde Jakeway, he was a lifelong Tigers and Lions fan. One of five siblings, he was the second born in a family of strong Irish ancestry. He attended school in Detroit where he swam competitively, winning the league championship his senior year and placing seventh in the state of Michigan.
