William J. Hudson

William “Bill” Jackson Hudson, age 81, of Toledo, passed away August 6, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Dickson, TN along with his four sisters by the late Aaron and Lyda Hudson. Bill married his high school sweetheart before he joined the Air Force and served four years. After serving his country, Bill and Peggy settled in Toledo, Ohio where Bill became a member of the UA Local 50 Plumbers and Steamfitters in 1969 as a journeyman plumber pipefitter. Bill loved spending time with family and friends, gardening, and woodworking. Bill also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and had met with his high school football buddies annually. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Peggy, his three children, Kathryn (Tom) Funk, Steven (Mary) Hudson, Cynthia (Darrin) Sheets. He was Papa to 8 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Memorial visitation for Bill will be held from 4-8 p.m., Tues, Aug. 10th and Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 11th at Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee, OH 43537
