William Hilyard

Bill Hilyard Sr., age 75 of Swanton, OH passed away peacefully at home on Saturday May 4, 2013 , surrounded by his loving wife Karen and family. He was born August 25, 1937 to Carl and Teresa Hilyard in Toledo, Ohio. He worked for Union Local 18 operating heavy equipment until retirement. When he then continued to perfect his golf game that he picked up in the 70s. He was a loyal member of Spuyten Duyval Golf Club. He loved being outdoors with wildlife and watching the NASCAR races. He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind his loving wife Karen P. Hilyard; children, William B Denise Hilyard Jr.; Michael T. Mindy Hilyard and their children Aaron and Michael; Carl J. Hilyard and his children Eric and Holly; John D. Hilyard and his children Brittany and Zachary; Pamela M. John Yarder and their children Andrea and Megan and Taylor and all the great grandchildren. Services for Bill will be private.
