William H. Davis

Davis William H. William H. Davis, age 79, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2008 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The son of Neal and Bertha Davis, he was born in Mathell, KY. Bill served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. After he was honorably discharged from the Army, he attended trade school and began his career with DeVilbiss as a machinist. He loved to fish and was a very talented wood craftsman. Bill enjoyed long walks, but his true joy was being a grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Debra Gary Jenkins, Leaketa James Perry, William Denny Davis; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Loretta and Leona Davis. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park on Satruday. Arrangements are being handled by the Walker Funeral Home 419 841-2422. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
