William Anthony Ceccoli

January 10, 1970 — August 2, 2025

William Anthony Ceccoli, 55, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away on August 2, 2025, in the compassionate care of the Louis Stokes V.A. Medical Center. He was born on January 10, 1970, in Port Clinton to Judith and Louis Ceccoli Jr. He recently lived in Gervais, Oregon for 20 years.


A proud veteran, William did his basic training at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri where he served his country in the U.S. Army as part of the 8th Infantry Division, specializing as a bridge engineer. He received two meritorious achievement medals. Following his military service, he built a career in repairing and teaching of repairing ID printers for many different companies, including the government. His curiosity and passion for sharing knowledge extended to his YouTube channel, Flippin Nickel Productions, where he made short videos on subjects that fascinated him, always ending with his heartfelt sign-off: “God Bless America.”


William’s greatest love was his family. He cared deeply for his former wives, Julie Lee Goodwin and Julie Robin Miles, and deeply cared for his stepchildren: Tayanita Miles Campbell, Cholena Miles, and Trevon Miles. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved Yorkies who preceded him in death, Tobias and Remo.


He is survived by his parents, Judith and Louis Ceccoli Jr., and his brother, Jason (Darcy) Ceccoli; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Ceccoli.


William will be remembered for his generosity, patriotism, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and in the memories he created.
