William “Bill” Lawrence Cain, age 78, of Napoleon, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on December 26, 2020. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Annie and Wilbur Cain on January 4, 1942. Bill attended Toledo Whitmer High School graduating in 1960 and then attended Rochester Institute of Technology graduating with a Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design. He served in the Army Reserves after attending college. While working for his father’s printing business, Industrial Printing in Toledo, he met and married the love of his life, Karen Snyder in 1968. Bill was an entrepreneur and over the years was a real estate agent, owned his own printing company, was a publisher and later in life drove an expediter van. He loved meeting new people, telling stories and connecting with those he loved. He also had a passion for cooking and enjoyed replicating recipes he saw on his favorite TV shows along with his mom’s favorite recipes. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karen and their two children, Stacy (Shane) Eberle and Jeffery (Pam) Cain. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Gabrielle Cain, William Cain, Jacob Highfield, Ashlynn Highfield and Danielle Cain. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Pat Rupli of Onstead, MI and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Cain and sister, Carol Schoonmaker. A memorial service commemorating his life will be held later in 2021.
