William E. Bradbury

William E. Bradbury, 68 of Marblehead, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1943 in Athens, OH, the son of Harry Elmo and Ellen Reita Cooney Bradbury. On June 11, 1976, Bill married Shirley A. Scott and she preceded him in death on January 23, 2009. He worked as a supervisor for Sandusky Limited until his retirement. Bill was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He loved spending time with his grandsons, boxing, NASCAR and gardening. Bill was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Judy Ricard Torres Ward and Jeanne Greg Weldon Pruitt; Son: Joseph Ward; Grandsons: Brian & Brad Pruitt and 4 sisters. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 1 sister and brothers: Harry and John Bradbury. Visitation will be 10-11AM, Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by the funeral service conducted by Reverend Deron Fourman at 11:00AM. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery with a military graveside service conducted by the V. F. W. Homer D. Gardner Post #2480.
