William L. Beck

William Bill L. Beck, 73, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 12, 2017. He was born on November 21, 1943 in Fremont, OH to Donald F. and Dorothy M. (Walters) Beck. On November 14, 1980 at St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor he married Beverly S. Fic, and she survives. Bill drove truck for Roadway Express for 26 years before retiring and most recently was helping at the Salem Township Cemeteries and Maintenance crew. He was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor, Oak Harbor Masonic Lodge #495 FAM for over 25 years, and the Ottawa County Shrine for over 20 years. Bill enjoyed collecting model trucks. In addition to his loving wife of 36 years, Beverly, Bill is survived by his daughters, Terri (Jack) Glass, Traci (Martin) Lintner, and Tricia (Adam) Michael, step-daughter, Jennifer (Jason) Fairbanks, step-son, Craig (Lynsey) Fairbanks, grandchildren; Brittani (Ryan) Emahiser, Jordan (Phil) OShea, Taylor (Tyler) Glass, Hannah Glass, Chloe, Clay and Lexi Michaels, Zoey and Zane Fairbanks, great grandchildren; Logan Emahiser, Kennedy Bores, Brady and Owen Emahiser. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Beck. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St. Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend David Voll at 11 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Pauls United Church of Christ, 165 N. Toussaint St., Oak Harbor. Interment will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of Bill may be given to St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
