Willard M. Schwisow

Willard Martin Schwisow, 82, of Maumee, OH passed away on Monday April 26, 2010 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 20, 1927 in Latchie, Ohio to Martin and Anna Melcher Schwisow. Willard was a US Army veteran, and employed as a Carpentry Foreman for Floyd Bucher and Son, Inc for 42 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Northern Light Masonic Lodge #40 for 50 years and Zenobia Shrine in the Arab Patrol. Willard is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Faye J, Schwisow; son, Dr Allen Carol Schwisow; daughter, Kay Richard Krueger; and grandchildren, Andrew and Jeffrey Schwisow and Jacob Krueger. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Eleanor Metzger and Doris Abke. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday April 28, 2010 from 2-5 and 6-8 pm. Northern Light Lodge services will begin at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, OH.
