Willa Adams

ADAMS WILLA V. Willa V. Adams age 88 of Sylvania passed away Friday October 23, 2009 at the Ebeid Hospice Center, Sylvania. She was born April 4, 1921 in Toledo to William and Grace Volk. Willa was an active member of the Dendara Court #10 Ladies Oriental Shrine where she was Past High Priestess 1986-1987, a member of Musiqa Unit where she was part of the drum and glockenspiel corp, the Omdas Unit and Ptakis Unit. Preceded in death by her brother William Volk, she is survived by daughters Darlene Carl Krueger and Nancie Ron Robertson; son Dean Kathy Adams; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave, west of Corey on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Interment Toledo Memorial Park. Dendara Court will conduct services at 7 PM Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Willa requested contributions to either the Dendara General Fund, Victory Center or Ebeid Hospice Residence of the PCCS Foundation.
