Wesley Rudd Revill, 86, of Maumee, OH passed away Friday, September 05, 2008 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 26, 1922 in Toledo to George and Lily Rudd Revill. Wesley was a US Naval veteran serving in WWII serving with the Seabees in the Pacific Theatre. After the war, Wesley was active in national and local Seabee functions. He was the owner and operator of Revill Painting and Decorating. Wesley learned how to paint from his father who came to the U.S. from England. Wesley was a member of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, Local 7 Painters Union and taught painting at the Toledo Trade School. Wesley was also a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Maumee where he was an usher. He enjoyed boating and water skiing at Devils Lake and loved to travel. During retirement, he was employed at Red Roof Inn in maintenance. Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Olga Meyer Revill whom he married June 6, 1948; daughter, Linda Steven Scott; son, Terry Revill; grandchildren, Jason Scott, Jeremy Alison Scott, Jeff, Todd, Troy and Terri Lynn; 15 great grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Bob Greunke. In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by his sister, Irene and brother, Albert. Family and friends may visit Sunday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Cancer Institute, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Maumee.
